Encouraging Signs

"You have heard me teach many things that have been confirmed
by many reliable witnesses. Teach these great truths
to trustworthy people who are able to pass them on to others."
                                 2 Timothy 2:2

Last week Tom was invited by the Kuy leadership of the churches in Kampong Thom to join a one day seminar they were planning. They invited Tom to share whatever he would like and also another Cambodian pastor. They spent time in prayer and fellowship. It was instigated by the church leaders themselves. This is an answer to our prayers.

While we are happy that the leaders in Kampong Thom are organizing times for fellowship with other Kuy Christian leaders, we would love to see the emphasis more on outreach. There are still 60 or more Kuy villages in Cambodia with no Christian witness. Pray with us that Kuy believers in Kampong Thom will have a solid understanding of the grace of God and the amazing message of the Bible and an increasing heart for the lost. Pray for Holy Spirit inspired boldness and wisdom and the willingness to do what it takes to get the good news to other villages.

Thanks for praying for Tom's trip to Thailand last month. He was able to make a few contacts with Kuy people and those ministering to them. Unfortunately fighting had broken out on the border with Thailand. As a result, the Cambodian missionary to the Kuy who had planned to go with him did not go.
